You might have been told that stomach pain and bloating are “just something you have to live with.” Maybe you’ve been handed a long list of foods to avoid or told to “just eat healthier.” In reality, nutrition and lifestyle changes, done gently, can help your gut heal and function better long-term. We’re not here for a bandaid solution, we want to help you feel better, for good.
Eating regular, balanced meals and slowing down at mealtimes improves stomach acid, motility, and absorption.
A variety of fibers from plants and whole foods feeds healthy gut bacteria and supports smoother digestion.
Probiotics, fermented foods, and targeted nutrients help support beneficial bacteria while calming inflammation.
Your gut and nervous system are deeply connected. Managing stress, sleep, and meal timing can dramatically reduce symptoms.

Remember, we don’t try to do it all at once. We make sustainable changes, one at a time.
We start by mapping out your symptoms, routines, and history, not just what you eat. Many gut issues come from patterns like rushing meals, overusing caffeine, or skipping breakfast, not just specific foods. Together, we’ll find which triggers actually matter and which ones you can safely ignore. No black-and-white food rules, no fear-based plans, just clarity.
We’ll use simple, practical strategies to help your digestive system work with you, not against you. That might mean adjusting meal timing, improving chewing habits, adding digestive support foods, and identifying if hydration or meal spacing could improve motility. Small shifts here can dramatically reduce bloating and discomfort within weeks.
We focus on adding variety, not just removing foods. In fact, we try not to remove foods unless absolutely necessary. The goal is freedom, not restriction. With your nutritionist, you’ll learn how to introduce fiber-rich foods gradually, include fermented options, and use targeted supplements only when needed. If helpful, we can run stool or SIBO testing to tailor your plan to your specific gut environment.
Your gut and brain are deeply intertwined. Stress, anxiety, and poor sleep all impact digestion. We’ll weave in gentle, non-intimidating ways to regulate your nervous system, such as slowing down before meals, adding breathwork or a pre-meal ritual, or identifying patterns that cause digestive tension. This is such an underutilized tool that we find makes a huge impact on our clients' healing.
Once your symptoms begin to calm, we’ll slowly add back foods you may have eliminated, without fear. This phase focuses on expanding your food freedom while maintaining digestive comfort. We’ll track your body’s cues, use a structured reintroduction process (when needed), and celebrate the wins along the way.
Gut health isn’t a quick fix, it’s a partnership with your body. You’ll walk away with a toolkit of doable daily habits: balanced meals, simple grocery swaps, and small routines that improve digestion naturally. The goal? Less micromanaging, more living.
No more unbuttoning your pants after every meal or mapping out every bathroom near you when you’re out. No more feeling confused on what may or may not be working, you will leave with clarity and more freedom around food.

Bailey
“I’d had tests and dismissive doctors telling me ‘You’re healthy,’ but I was in pain after every meal. My diet was already limited, and I felt a lot of shame around not sticking perfectly to an elimination plan. Plenish changed that. They ask about my lifestyle, history, and mindset—not just what I eat—and help me make sense of test results. Now, I feel more in control of food, and I have habits that have really helped me reclaim my approach to nutrition.”

Are there specific foods that help with gut health?
Supporting your gut isn’t about one “magic” food, it’s about creating balance and consistency. Fiber, fermented foods, hydration, and regular meals all play a role, but the key is finding what your body tolerates best. Your nutritionist will help you build a balanced plan that supports digestion without unnecessary restriction.
How long does it take to heal your gut with nutrition?
It depends on what’s driving your symptoms. Many clients start noticing improvements within a few weeks, but true, lasting gut healing can take several months. Think about how long your symptoms have been showing up. It takes time to rebuild balance, but every small step gets you closer to relief.
What are your practitioner's qualifications?
Our practitioners are Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionists (LDNs), Certified Nutrition Specialists (CNS), and Registered Dietitians (RDs). This means each person has a master's-level degree in nutrition. They also have undergone extensive training focused on their areas of specialization.
Do you take insurance?
Yes! We accept Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare. If you plan on using insurance, please check with your insurance before booking a call to verify benefits. Most people pay $0 for their nutrition sessions through insurance.
For out-of-network, we can create a “super bill” for reimbursement. With this, you can coordinate with your insurance company to see what they will and will not reimburse.
