You deserve food freedom, we're here to help make that happen.
Recovery means being able to eat pizza with friends or enjoy a family dinner without panic. We’ll help you re-engage in social eating, cultural traditions, and spontaneous meals while maintaining structure behind the scenes. As shame fades, joy and connection return—to food, life, and yourself.
We want you to be able to soar without us. We help you transferr skills from structured support to independent use. You’ll practice self-monitoring, flexible meal planning, and relapse prevention strategies designed to sustain recovery. The goal is to ensure you feel confident managing food, body, and emotional triggers while slowly meeting less frequently to allow you indepence to practice!
Together, we’ll begin to gently challenge fear foods, one step at a time. Through repeated exposure and support, these foods start to lose their power, helping you eat with more comfort, flexibility, and trust.
At Plenish, we focus first on body respect, not body love. We’ll explore beliefs, social comparisons, and body-checking habits while practicing neutrality and care. Through reflection tools and gentle exposure, you’ll learn to relate to your body as something to be cared for.
In early recovery, hunger and fullness cues can be unreliable. We don’t expect you to “eat intuitively” right away. Instead, we teach structured eating that retrains your internal signals over time. As your body heals from malnutrition or dysregulation, those cues become clearer—and trusting them starts to feel natural again.
Our team will assess and track patterns such as restriction, bingeing, and compensatory behaviors to understand their underlying triggers. Through structured nutrition planning and behavioral interventions, we’ll help you reduce these behaviors and develop predictable, sustainable eating patterns that support recovery.
Together, we’ll create consistent, balanced meal patterns that support blood sugar, mood, and energy regulation. You’ll have clear guidance on what and when to eat, removing guesswork and anxiety. Structure builds safety, helping your body and brain begin to trust that food is coming again.

I worked with Kate every other week for a little over six months. Three months after I’ve “graduated” I am amazed at how much better my relationship is with food and with myself. Food used to have an immense amount of power and control in my life and I constantly felt guilty and ashamed. Through working with Kate, I have developed compassion for myself and my body. I know how to make educational nutritional decisions and I can enjoy food and experiences that used to give me a lot of shame and anxiety. What's been amazing is how much I use the tools she gave me this long after our work together - the little choices that felt like mountains feel easier every day. Working with her changed my life.

“I had bad stomach issues and anxiety, and primary care would tell me, ‘Just lose weight and you'll be fine.’ Plenish helped me finally resolve those stomach issues by teaching me to build habits I can keep.
Instead of obsessing about calories or a perfect plate, like I had tried for so long, they had me focus on listening to my body and building little routines. It’s about small changes that stick. If you just want to lose 10 pounds, they’re not for you—and that makes it feel like a very safe space.”

“I felt sort of an instant connection with Kate. She has a way of making you feel very supported and handling sensitive issues gently. She would break everything down so well for me. We weren’t going to worry about not eating snacks this week—we were going to worry about adding different colors of food, getting enough fiber at breakfast. Just little tiny achievable metrics that, when practiced as a whole, were actually digestible. That step-by-step approach really helped me.”

What eating disorders can you support?
What eating disorders can you support?
We support adults, teens and adolescents in outpatient recovery from anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and ARFID. We also work with clients transitioning from higher levels of care such as PHP, IOP, or residential treatment.
How often should I meet with my dietitian?
We recommend weekly sessions at first to help you establish care and build momentum in your recovery. This frequency allows us to provide structure, accountability, and support as we navigate the early stages together.
As you begin to feel more confident and consistent with eating and coping skills, we’ll transition to bi-weekly sessions. The goal is always to help you build independence while maintaining the support you need at each stage of recovery.
Will you work with my care team?
Yes. We regularly collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, and physicians to ensure your recovery plan is integrated and cohesive. With your permission, we can share updates and progress notes to support continuity of care.
Do you take insurance?
Yes! We accept Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare. If you plan on using insurance, please check with your insurance before booking a call to verify benefits. Most people pay $0 for their nutrition sessions through insurance.
For out-of-network, we can create a “super bill” for reimbursement. With this, you can coordinate with your insurance company to see what they will and will not reimburse.
Do you accept HSA and/or FSA payments?
Yes, we accept both HSA and FSA payments.
How long does recovery take?
There isn’t a set timeline for recovery. Healing looks different for everyone. Factors like how long you’ve struggled, the type of eating disorder, your support system, and life stressors all play a role.
What we can say is that recovery happens in stages. Early on, we focus on medical and nutritional stabilization. Over time, we work toward rebuilding trust with food, healing your relationship with your body, and increasing independence. Our team will meet you where you are and support you through each step, at your own pace.
